Capable of accommodating 4,100 passengers, the giant .1 billion Norwegian Epic has hit the high seas. The exterior of the ship isn’t the prettiest, but the interior more than makes up for it. Norwegian Epic offers excitement and entertainment on its range of luxury cruises.

Norwegian Epic has a mix of entertainment, from jazz, blues and comedy acts to impressive performances from the Blue Man Group. The ship has 20 eateries onboard offering food from around the world including Italian, Japanese and Chinese. Tastes serves modern cuisine, and you can watch live bands while you eat in the Manhattan Room. You can also take advantage of the onboard room service and get a pizza delivered anywhere in the ship!

The ship has 20 bars and lounges, and the most notable is the Ice Bar, the first of its kind at sea. Only 25 people can fit in the Ice Bar, but it’s worth a look if you are after something a bit different, or if you just fancy cooling down! There’s also a full-service spa and a large casino with hundreds of slot machines.

Cabins on the Norwegian Epic have curved interiors and some were designed specifically for solo travellers so they wouldn’t have to pay extortionate single supplements. Studio cabins are compact but sleekly designed. The villa complex is aimed at travellers who like to indulge in luxury cruises. There are penthouse suites with circular beds, courtyard villas that sleep six people, and deluxe suites with forward facing views.

Norwegian Epic offers luxury cruises all over the Caribbean, Atlantic and Mediterranean. If you plan to book a cruise, be sure to buy travel insurance that includes cover for cruise holidays. This normally needs to be added as an extension. Goodtogoinsurance.com provides a range of travel insurance policies including cover for cruises. We also specialise in providing cover for people with pre existing medical conditions, and travellers of any ages can purchase our single trip policies.
