By pooling their resources, Help the Aged and Age Concern have joined forces to become Age UK. Age UK will continue to address the challenges faced by older people living in the UK and abroad, working closely with HelpAge International to improve the lives of older people living in developing countries.

Older people sometimes have to deal with medical conditions, the death of loved ones and age discrimination. Age UK is campaigning to help those suffering the effects of old age to lead happier, healthier lives.

By supporting extensive research, Age UK has helped to tackle many of the longstanding health problems related to old age, including dementia, cognitive decline, incontinence and strokes. Other common problems such as slow wound healing and diminished immune systems are undergoing thorough research.

In spite of the challenges they face, older people continue to enjoy holidays abroad as a means of relaxation. But preparing for a holiday can be a daunting prospect and some have difficulty finding suitable travel insurance.

It can be difficult for an older person to find a travel insurance policy that is right for them, particularly if they have pre existing medical conditions.

Goodtogoinsurance.com has no upper age limit on single trip travel insurance, and people with a range of pre existing medical conditions can be covered.

If you suffer from a pre existing medical condition or you are over 65, over 70 or even over 80, goodtogoinsurance.com can offer a travel insurance policy that is designed with your needs in mind.
